how to delete posts?
I posted a couple of messages yesterday which were grossly insensitive. I've apologised to the other member, but I now want to delete the posts. I've looked at the FAQ, which says I need to use the "edit" button - but I can't see an "edit" button. Where is it, or how do I edit my profile so that there is one? (The "posting rules" box says "You may edit your posts" - but how?)

I think this is the button that you're referring to ...
Now, unless the rules have changed, you only have about two hours to "edit" a post. After that, a moderator has to do it. If it's only a couple and you still need help, please send a PM to one of us telling exactly which posts (date and time help) in which threads need to be deleted and we'll see if we can't help.  |
