Let's play "Identify the strange tree in Gilly's Yard!"

I have a tree which annoys me at night. It's right next to the window, and scrapes our screen. Very annoying.
Anyway, today I was out looking at some stuff, and noticed berries growing on it.

So, here's some pictures. Any idea?

 Gilly---Why don't you take the screen off,take some "long-handeled lopers(sp?)"& lop off the offending branchs?If you don'thave,the proper tool,you can,probably,rent them.They are also
 available,at Sears,Home Depot,etc.They are not expensive,& come
in handy, especially if your yard is large!I bought some years ago,
that have an adjustable "anvil",so as the blades wear, you can adjust them. Irish
P.S.A few yrs ago,I bought a large variety of yard tools. In the long run,it's much less expensive, then hiring a "specialist".Plus
 you don't have to wait.

	| Looks like a mulberry tree to me, too. If it is, they can be very messy, but the mulberries sure are tasty.

	| I'll vote for mulberry tree too...looks like the berries should be ripe in about another week or so. They're excellent on vanilla ice cream or in milk with some sugar by the way. |

	| I am a mulberry freak!!! You lucky lucky thing if they are!!!!
That is not what they look like here though. Here the berries are shaped more like elongated blackberries.

	| Well there you go Gilly, find someone who's in love with the berries and trade them all the damned berries they want if they just chop the thing down! Or at least trim it back.
