I've always thought it was a sexy look....the short pleated skirt and long socks or even stockings....it's just sort of 'cheeky' but innocent.

My ex always said it was because school girls were the first object of lust for most men (back when they hit puberty) but for most boys they didn't actually ever get to have a sexual experience with one, since by the time they had become sexually active they were in their very late teens or early twenties. He theorised that there was still a hankering for those types of girls because of that and I think there could well be weight to that argument.

I also think that for some people (whether it's a false association created by the porn industry or not) there's an association of school girls with dominance and submissive roles, corporal punishment (usually in the form of spanking) and breaking tabboos. Plus the more obvious associations of school girls being nubile young virgins who are eager to learn 'the ways of the world' etc.

Personally, I like the school girl fantasy....long may it reign!
