Thanks for making this thread Grumble. Its a big problem that many women face on these types of boards. It was really bad when I was a newbie.

It pisses me off to get some PM asking if I want to "cyber" or "how do I like sex" without even bothering to say "Hi, I would like to get to know you"

I like getting PM's and have met some of my best friends through them. As for IM. I don't put that in my profile. I will say PM me for it and then check out their posting history and get to know them a little first.
