actually, a shapeshifter named Chameleon is nuthin new. i'm pretty sure he's in the Spider-man comics.

myself, i always dug Kitty Pryde's powers. she had the ability to turn both invisible and intangible. and for my money, it just don't get any better than Nightcrawler. he's German, he looks like a demonic elf, he's got a prehensile tail, and he can teleport, leaving the stench and smoke of brimstone when he does so. mm hmm... that's what daddy likes.
