Sorry to leave you hanging. My definitions are the same as everyone who replied. His were a little different.
In regards to voyeur/exhibitionist. He understand the concept of one being a watcher, the other being the watched. But says that voyeurism encompasses 3 parts, the scene, the witness(es), and the participants. This was our largest disagreement in the whole discussion, and it was finally decided to just agree to disagree.
In regards to masochist vs sadist. He agreed that one likes to receive pleasure, and the other likes to give, but he put very negative connotations on the word sadist and uses the word masochist in a more general reference to consensual BDSM play between two people. Again, we had to agree to disagree because he didn't like being wrong.
