Kinda spooky
 

My daughter just posted up pics she "found" on her camera on Facebook. The usual ones like her + boyfriend, just boyfriend …. and ones of her on her own.

In several of them, she looks SO like her late mother, it's freaked me out a bit.

More than a bit, actually.

She is totally gorgeous by the way!!

It's almost like they're related.

I find funny the ways my kids are not like their mother and I.

Oh, there are lots of ways she isn't like either of us OF. But I've noticed little things she does that her mother used to do; for example, there's a certain little twitch of the lips her mum did which is kind of half smile/half grimace - she doesn't even know she does it, but it epitomises her mother. Other wee things like that, that most people wouldn't notice.

But, the older she gets, the more she resembles her mum facially too. Which is a "good thing".

Be sure you tell her. I am sure it will make her feel good to know she is still with her.

You've a fine line to walk here, the whole "You are your own beautiful person" Vs "You are beautiful like your mother was."
