So, last month was monumental because I graduated college with a 4.0, after being a high-school drop out 23-years earlier. I then got a job and after 12 weeks was offered a management position. So far so good, right? :thumbs:

Well......tomorrow I leave to embark on my biggest adventure yet. I will meet my Joe's two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grand-kids for the very first time. I will cease being the woman he met online and is shacking up with to a real live flesh and blood woman...that he is shacking up with. :D

Yes, I'm freaking nervous!! I want these people to like and accept me. So, wish me luck, and if you wouldn't mind, please remind me that I'm fabulous and that everyone who knows me loves me. Right???? :huh:

I'll be gone until the 11th of July so have a safe, kinky, and very happy 4th of July. :kisser:

You don't need luck, you have skilzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :D. That is what I tell my students before they have to take a test.

This is not a test. It might feel like one at first but there is no pass/fail. You are building a relationship. Start tiny. Small steps, reasonable expectations.

They will love you, eventually. Give them time. What's not to love... ;)

Does this mean we can call you Grandma??????? :D:D:p

I'm bumping my thread because I want to thank those that posted and gave me such encouragement. We got home last night and the trip went very well. Joe's family seemed to accept me just fine, which made us both very happy. I had a terrific time and hope they come here soon for a visit.

Lil, I'm NOT going to be called grandma!! :D

How about just "Grand?" :)
