Proactive???
 

The local electric companies just issued an appeal for people to reduce electricity consumption as much as possible from 2-8 pm for the summer. They say there is no problem but are being proactive. Makes me suspicious...

I am warning all of you northernly located Pixies, I can't do summer afternoons in Fl with no air, I may have to move in:p

-grins- Like we can do summer afternoons in MI without air. You have high tempertaure, we have HUGE humidity. ;)

You can come and stay with us, but be forewarned there are floors that need to be finished:D

Cum out to sunny So.California for a visit. We probably won't be as hot as Florida. You can enjoy the big blue pacific.

My house has 2ft. thick brick walls covered with stucco...so we don't use an AC! *ducks*

If we keep the shades down and the ceiling fans on it stays so cool in here that you'd think it was conditioned...but it ain't! And...we have a "whole house fan" that we put in the guest bedroom window and it sucks all the cool air up and the hot air out!

Come stay here iffin you want Lil! But...uh...the deal is, you HAVE to bring Mr. Lil!
