trouble logging on

sometime when i log on the screen will smear so it can not be read. it does not happen all the time and is unpredictable. is there anything i can do to prevent it ? any ideas ?

never had exactly that problem.. but I have experienced an altered font.. from time to time.. one rather difficult to read... but then.. eventually it goes away...

odd. :)

hungry, does this happen by any chance when you are scrolling down a page, and it doesn't display it correctly?

SuzyQ 01-01-2004 06:07 PM

Is this the only web site that happens on?

hungry 01-01-2004 06:40 PM

it use to happen on other sites but now only Pixies. Yes it can happen when scrolling (which makes it worse) but can happen as the page opens up.

If you've been browsing the ladies pictures try wiping the monitor with a tissue mate...........only teasing

<------not a techie and don't pretend to be!

But.......have you defragmented your puter lately? Cleared cookies and stuff like that?

OK....shutting up now....I know nothing! Hope you get it figured out hun...and Welcum to Pixies hungry!

Maybe clear your temp cache and defrag like Lixy suggested. Also I had an old computer and new fast cable. Someone suggested that the cable was faster than my puter. I have had no trouble since I started using a better system.

I would assume your running a version of windows so if you could post the version and the specs on your system that would help a bit.

Also do you have anti-virus software?
Do you have windows fully updated?
If your using internet explorer or another brower is it the newest version?
Are your video drivers the latest release?

That's all I can think of currently, but hoefully we'll be able to fix the problem for you.
