Fa~La~La~La~La

I did not think I was at all ready for Christmas to be on it's way but a local radio station switched to 24/7 Christmas music yesterday and miraculously I'm ready :p

What is your favorite holiday song? If you don't celebrate Christmas is there other holiday or celebratory music you like?

1 month til Christmas Eve :D

I picked up from somewhere a track of Klingon Xmas Carols.

Totally off the wall, but soooooooo funny.

My favorite serious one ... Andy Williams singing "O Holy Night" and I'm split on the funny ones .... Chipmunks singing "Christmas, Christmas Time is here" (don't remember the actual title) and of course .... GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER! :)

I Love "We 3 Kings"..

And hmm I dont know the name off the Top of My head.. The one that goes "Hark how the bells, Sweet silver Bells, all seem too say, throw cares away"

My Fav silly one is Alvin and the Chipmunks song... I still want a hula hoop! :D

I am with STO on this one. When I was little, I'd watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every Christmas. So I guess I can't help but to feel a bit sentimental when I hear this song at Christmas!

I'd also like to add, "O Come All Ye Faithful". Especially when its performed by a symphony, I just get goosebumps!

Burl Ives ~ Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer
Bing and Bowie ~ Little Drummer Boy
Band Aid ~ Do They Know It's Christmas (I love Boy George's part in this one.....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)

Love to hear Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Elvis..............etc.!

Oh, and Lil? We've had 24/7 X-mas music for two weeks now on a local station. I had to change it during the day or I was gonna puke already! LMFAO!

dicksbro 11-25-2003 08:26 PM

Yogi Yorgison's "I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas" (actually he had several terrific Christmas comedy numbers).

Bing and Bowie's "Little Drummer Boy" (You have good taste, Lixy)

Manhatten Steamrollers "Patapan"

(I love Christmas music in general and picked up three new albums to keep in my car. :D)
