A Serious Question.. (imagine that)
As everyone here knows.. I am SINGLE.. divorced... and have been completely celebate for the past 2 years (26 months)...
During that time.. I have become rather proficient at using my toys. Altho I have had vibs, the toy of my choice is my bullet :) No doubt several of you have read my rave reviews of this item (I still claim that whoever created it should recieve sainthood). I enjoy masturbation just as much as anyone else, and being alone it is the only form of stimulation that I can rely on. I masturbate atleast every other day (sometimes more than once a day depending on my mood). I have concerns tho. I am worried, that my proficiency with my bullet will result in a difficulty in achieving an orgasm without it. I have found that when I choose not to use the bullet, the result isn't nearly as good.. and I worry that this will be the case with a partner. Yes, I do believe that using toys within a relationship is good.. but what about when it is a MUST. :( Is that possible? that my own enjoyment with this bullet could result in difficulty later? Very interested in everyones take on this. Am I crazy or what??? |
I know how you feel, for a long time, even though I was married I could ONLY get there with a toy.. I felt really bad, and had to make sure hubby knew it wasnt him.. Now when I know its a MUST its ok.. But just do both, I mean there really is no harm in using both all the time, or only sometimes. I love my toys, I REALLY love my toys hehe but sometimes theres that one "itch" that only a man can reach.. You will be fine, just try different things..
Maybe get off with your toy first while hes watching, or make him get you off with it.. Then move on with him.. That way he doesnt feel like you need more than him (works for me) HUGS it will be ok really, and never give up your toys, sometimes its the only thing that keeps us girls goin!! =) Sar |

..... and how big of a gun is required? |
Hi Jennaflower - do you know who Dr. Drew is? I remember him commenting on this very type of question .... he said you can de-sensitize areas by using toys.....however they can be re-sensitized too ..... his suggestion was that if you are used to using only a toy for a long period of time .... and you know you are about to change to being with a partner (as well) - then to resensitize, that you steer clear of using the toy for at least several days before .... allowing a break from that type of stimulation and if possible from all stimulation for that time. Don't know if it's true, but Dr. Drew seemed pretty knowlegable on all such matters ..... good luck!!!!

Isn’t he the marshal in Dodge?

ROFL - good one PF!!!
|
PF, you trying to be a big shot?
Jenna, no facet of a relationship is impossible. First find the relationship, then wriggle it to fit. |
jenna, i'm sure with the right person anything can be achieved!!

I agree with fzzy's advice. You can sorta slow down the stimulation - reduce the speed of your toys and see if you can graduate to masturbating with your hands alone.
|
I think what FZZY said is right. Just keep some days of abstinence and you will find the way back. I am convinced this works.

THanks all of you for your nice responses (And I apologize for my delay in getting back to my own thread).
Actually... I am pretty certain that my dependence on my bullet won't be much of a problem, mainly because I have every intention of actively using toys WITH my next partner. His acceptance of their use will be one of the ways in which I will be able to gage whether or not that particular relationship will be worthwhile to explore further :) Altho I absolutely treasure my bullet.. there are many things that it could never replace.. nor would I want it to... there is much more to a man.. than his penis.. and it is those things that I miss most... |
