Why in the hell do they care how you met? I think a dating service is as legitimate as a blind date or any other way of meeting.

Basically they have been having a rash of "mail order brides" come into the US, get married and then file for divorce on the grounds of abuse and this law is to protect them. All marrage brokers have to be registered with the USCIS, if they aint....no visa
