Here's a picture of the three bikes that went on our ride last year. Mine is the Maroon one on the left. The next one is my buddy's 1997 Valkyrie. The one on the right is the 1987 Suzuki Intruder my wife rode. Irish, I'll try to post a picture of my wife's Legend next. It is a 900cc triple based on the old Trident motor. I've also got a picture you will be really interested in. It's a new cruiser Triumph is going to produce. I't's a 2300cc in line three cylinder. I think you'll like it.
BTW, I've been riding since 1967 and have ridden a few Harleys, but have yet to own one. The only one's that have ever struck my fancy was the XR750, XR1000 and the new V-Rod. All the rest of their models are Ok bikes but just don'tt do it for me. Comshaw |

Well I've just discovered I don't have any pictures of her new bike (jealousy on my part I think). Anyway here's a picture of the new cruiser Triumph is going to produce. Keep in mind this is a preproduction model, so the actual one might not look like this.

One more. My wife and my riding buddy's wife were in a quilt store, so I decided it was time for a nap. Damn woman snuck out and caught me with the camera.

This is my new baby...... the fairing says it all!! (Only 4 miles on it here... the day after I got it!) |
Last nights thread, shows how being overtired, makes you think
screwed up.I had just done physical labor(removing snow&ice) outside for about 14hrs.I reread this thread, this morning, and realised my errors. My bike is a '71 Triumph Bonneville chopper! Not '73,as I wrote.I went to Triumph factory school in '73.It's a good thing that I reread it this morning.I never really believed that fatigue affected you that much but evidently it does. After having that bike, for all those years, you wouldn't think that I would make a mistake like that!I have owned other bikes, but always kept that one.I not only love it but know its history since it was new. I was just digging through the older threads and found this one.
I have a 200 Yamaha 650 V Star that I love. It's not as fast as some of the sport bikes or as revered as a HD, but it gets me from point a to point b nicely. Love to ride with a breeze between my knees! |
