Nope!!

Ever since my surgery last year my looks have gone way down.I'm still ok but not the way I use to be.

Ironic how incredibly sexy people don't see themselves that way, isn't it?

I, of all people, should understand why, but having similar feelings and thoughts doesn't explain it. I never thought I was all that sexy, and getting the feedback I did here really helped boost my self-esteem. What I always thought of as shortcomings were praised, and so many people looked within me to see things I didn't.

People around me notice the difference in me now too. It's like a light inside of me has been turned on. ( no jokes from that fuzzy lamp in the corner! :p )

Absolutely. I'm sober,confident and generally don't give a fuck.
Let me explain: I used to be obsessed about how I looked before I walked out the door, checkin' this...fixin' that..etc. just to run to the store to buy milk! Now I just grab my keys and run out the door, sometimes in sweats and an old t-shirt and sometimes with a "I've been slummin'" hairstyle.I get more looks and smiles now than I ever did.....because I just don't give a fuck and the confidence to think that way shows regardless of how I'm dressed.

Note:don't get the wrong impression,I am a clean person,I just don't take a shower before I go to a convenience store!!

Bump...any updates?

dicksbro 04-13-2013 05:13 AM

Hmmm ... probably about the same. which, given my age, might be considered a plus. :)

Pixies definitely helps a person in touch with how they feel about sex and their own sexuality. But, what else would expect from the best site on the web? <---- Make that a smiling shrug. :D

No is the truthful answer, all in the mind so need to work on that.
Check back with me in 5 years lol

Lord Snow 04-13-2013 09:03 AM

I really feel no change over the last five years. I've always been fairly comfortable in my own skin, though never thought of myself as much of a sexual creature.

WildIrish 04-15-2013 10:48 AM

Pixies did so much to bring me out of my shell and help me to feel comfortable with myself. I'm not surprised to see examples of how it's done that with other people as well.

AZRedHot 04-15-2013 04:23 PM

No question I feel sexier now than I did 5 years ago. Pixies did a lot when I first started 9 years ago to help me view myself as sexy, and that formed a foundation for what I still feel. But for me a lot of it is maturing, knowing myself, and accepting myself. You spend a lot of your youth in self-doubt and self-critique. There have been points in my life where I was empirically more sexy, according to general physical standards, but true sexiness shines from the inside out, I think. I think of my younger self, and while she might've been cuter and more fit, I'll take the current me, thanks. She knows what to do with what she has. ;)

Yes, indeed I do feel sexier now than I felt then! :thumb:

You're very sweet. :) But the answer is in the question: you asked if we FELT sexier, not if we were, empirically sexier (if such a thing can be measured; I don't think so). But I'm pretty sure you'd have to feel me first to start that line of scientific inquiry. ;)

Hard to believe this thread is 7 years old. Lots of sexy things have happened in those 7 years.
