decides to begin reading Wolves of the calla, as he pours a third glass of whiskey/scotch, adn lights yet another cigarette
(anyone who likes roleplay, check the Final Fantasy/Dungeons & Dragons thread I have just started.) |
enters, grabs a cup of coffee and leaves quietly....
|
Thanks for the welcome hon. :) I could absolutely kill for a peanut butter fudge ice cream shake if you got one dear. If not, a nice cuppa Earl Grey will be fine.
|
Bestrafer, I know the title but have read none of the Dark Tower books. I do understand King re-released Gunslinger with extras for those who are only just starting to read the series. (It's my understanding he wrote the original when he was 19 or something.)
Kitty -- couldn't you do with both? I've been known to have a cup of coffee on the side while having ice cream. Tibvo, on the other hand, has ANOTHER dish of ice cream waiting in the wings while he eats the first. :D Peanut butter fudge shake puts me in mind of Tin Roof without the lumps. Yummy. Good to see both of you back. I have to hurry and get back on break before Tib thinks I'm working or something. |
enters, grabs a cup of coffee and takes a seat at a table in the corner....pulls out a cigarette and lights it......
|
You know I never thought of it like that, but I guess it is Tin Roof without the lumps.
Sure why not both...then if I get brain freeze I can have a sip of tea. :) Why don't you have one too? I'm buying. |
Indeed Maid, I am also reading From a Buick 8 by the same fella, simultameously, King is a superb writer, and I have always enjoyed his work.

*Runs in to grab a drink*
I thought it was about time I changed my AV. ......Santa's l'il helper was getting tired. :D Hope everyone's well and happy. |

But I liked Santa Baby's little helper.:bj: Who's running this place? I need a drink. |
Here's your drink, Gray and how are you? Long time no speak.
And Chloe, after seeing your AV, can I become the Chloe's Little Helper? ;) How are you, btw? |

I'm nursing a buggered back - apart from that I'm fine - thanks. How are you? I'd be honoured to have you as my helper but from the looks pf me all I need is help to get on my feet. :D Gray - I felt she'd - um - worked long enough. Santa just wasn't up to it. :) |
You weren't jumping off the wardrobe onto the bed again where you (and missed).
No wonder your back is poor. And poor Santa - no wonder if he wasn't up to it - most blokes wouldn't be if they had to do it morning, noon and night for a month. :( Seriously: sorry about your back. I know how you feel. :( |
Thanks for the drink Tib.
Maybe we should team up on Chloe, give her a nice massage, inside and out.:3: |
:D <<<<< happy grin.
