Lord Snow 05-25-2011 05:33 PM

He will, and it will still be funny.

Oldfart 05-25-2011 06:24 PM

My ex and I had a cat that often repeated idiot things. Curosity was a compelling habit.

Lord Snow 05-25-2011 07:44 PM

Which is why "curiosity killed the cat" so to speak.

gekkogecko 05-26-2011 11:38 AM

Cats can be stupid to the point of fatality.

Dogs can be loyal to the point of fatality.

Crocodiles cand be hungry to the point of your fatality.

We have that issue with tourists.

How the numbers chomped isn't in the dozens each year is an ongoing mystery to me.

New non-critter pics!

As you may notice, i like ducks *L*

Loved this one, was quite friendly & came very close

Noah 06-10-2011 05:12 PM

This one not so friendly *L*

Splash down

Ibis, whom i followed until they fly, so i could play with moving targets *L*

Noah 06-10-2011 05:13 PM

Last few

Ibis again

dicksbro 06-11-2011 04:52 AM

More great pictures. You should publish a book. With your skill and talent, no doubt it'd be a hit!

Noah 06-11-2011 07:03 AM

Nowhere near publishing standard...but thanks DB for the compliment :)

Lord Snow 06-11-2011 12:13 PM

Some many ducks......it's liable to drive someone quackers. (I know it's bad, but couldn't resist.)

Oldfart 06-11-2011 07:41 PM

One of the ducks has been in one too many blues. Not the boxer he's quacked up to be.

I know somebody else 'liked' ducks. It must run in the family.

You've got some pretty ugly ducks there. Are you sure those aren't crossed with a buzzard? ;)

Fantastic pics as usual. Those last few following the ibis, just how many frames per/sec are you taking. Looks like one of the last gaps from mechanical film to digital is closing with those speeds. Really good pics. :thumb:

Need to ask if that water is in a quarry. That shore line seems too straight and chiseled in the last few.

Noah 06-12-2011 02:07 AM

Yes he certainly did *LOL*

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder *L* I think they're all cute!

Takes 7frames/sec

The lake is man made. Lake Annard. The birds get locals/tourists feed them daily, bread unfortunately, which really isnt good for them and tends to foul the lake somewhat when heaps of people are trying to feed. There are works still going on there repairing damage from the inland tsunami we had go through

Noah 06-27-2011 05:01 AM

New critter pics

Jasper

Teddy (17yrs old)

dicksbro 06-27-2011 05:17 AM

Jasper is a doll. When did you get him?

Teddy looks like he's a bit upset with someone. Did you wake him with the flash? :D

Noah 06-27-2011 05:21 AM

They arent mine, they belong to my Sister.

Jasper is ADHD *LOL* But a lovable little fella
Teddy hasnt been well, the flash was too much for him, so didnt get many pics of him, it did upset him...poor old guy. He's really showing his age sadly

Lord Snow 06-27-2011 05:53 PM

Little dogs like that are always A.D.D./A.D.H.D.

Noah 06-27-2011 08:22 PM

Nah not always.....Teddy was calm even as a youngun.

Size doesnt have much to do with ADHD behaviour *LOL* My sister reckons he's feral, hes got nothing on Nika *LOL*

Lord Snow 06-27-2011 08:59 PM

It's just personal experience. Most of the little dogs I've come across in my life have been very hyper, and very "pay attention to me".

Fangtasia 06-27-2011 09:27 PM

My personal experience its equal footing *LOL*

Noah 06-27-2011 09:30 PM

Doesnt matter on size, all dogs have their own traits :)

Lord Snow 06-27-2011 09:52 PM

It's a matter of perception. Because they're small dogs with small legs it appears as though they're going a mile a minute simply because of their stride. Longer legs traverse the same distance in less strides thus appearing to be slower.

Noah 06-27-2011 10:05 PM

I think your version of an ADHD dog and mine are different *L* An ADHD dog to me is full on, nothing to do with stride, size etc...

But anyway, Jasper is a fun fella, like to play with his toy and likes you to play with it too, if you can get it off him *LOL*

Noah 08-07-2011 04:58 AM

My 5ft tank as it is now...

Lilith 08-07-2011 08:14 AM

Is really lovely!

gekkogecko 08-07-2011 10:19 AM

Spactacular!

Noah 09-03-2011 06:33 PM

New piccies

Alpacas

Favorite shot

Noah 09-03-2011 06:36 PM

We found these along the way.

Ya know its been cold on Oz when....................

*LOL*

Oldfart 09-03-2011 07:20 PM

Alpacas are cute.

The roos haven't thawed out yet, I see.

I guess their willy is chilly ...

Oldfart 09-04-2011 05:15 AM

That's not a willy, it's an icicle.

Noah 09-04-2011 06:18 AM

My gorgeous Nika

gekkogecko 09-05-2011 09:01 AM

*sigh* more mammals...

PantyFanatic 09-05-2011 09:32 AM

For crying out loud. Give that poor dog some water.

A Gilbert's Dragon and friend in my yard.

Is that what they meant when they said "There be dragons here"? Just goes to show what good PR can do for you. Standards for dragons in Oz are pretty low, it seems. :p

We had this visitor Sunday afternoon. Totally unexpected, and a little worrisome, for we have little dogs. They now require an escort from dusk and beyond out in the yard.

Oldfart 09-28-2011 01:00 AM

Yes, you don't want to find a collar and a ransom note tacked to the back door.

"Dear missus,

100 fieldmice in an unmarked bag or the mutt's history."

:D That would be extremely problematic...I'd have to find a field first! Guess it'll have to be pack rats.
