I am having a tough time of it with my Dad now admitted to hospital for palliative care 2 to 3 weeks tops, so I thank you for putting in a cheery thread.

Doing a bit better here and hoping to be doing even better in the near future.
Took husband to the dr. yesterday for his yearly (right! It's been 3 or 4 years!:eek: ) physical. Completely out of character for me, I went behind his back to the dr. (who is also my dr.) and told her of his total lack of sex drive and asked her to look into possible causes such as depression (which I suspected), low testosterone level, or the combination of meds he already takes.
Anyway, she must have followed through because he came out with 2 Rx's....one for depression - Effexor, and one for....are you ready.....VIAGRA!!!!:D :D :D WHHOOOOHHOOOO!!!
I'm gonna get some.....I'm gonna get some!!! YeeeHawww!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

I have been there too and am somewhat there now. (my father, currently in hospital, doctors have basically given up...)
I am scared and am certain he won't live a whole lot longer...but I'm just as frightened that he'll live longer than he WANTS to also. LOL Just can't win.
