What can I say....

Hmmm.....ok to sum up a thousand thoughts about that man-child all I can say is that any 44 year old man who sits next to a 14 year old boy and they hold hands and the boy rests his head on his shoulder..................is at the VERY least riddled with mental emotional and maturity issues.

Now if it was his natural son......nooooooo no 14 year old I know would sit holding any 44 year old man's hand on national television...father or not! When I was that age I didn't want anyone to even see me with my parents and from what I know THAT is the norm! ;)

I say we just BEAT him like SMOOTH CRIMINAL with a BILLY JEAN until he is nothing but BAD all over the road....and I am using the term "him" very very loosely here.

Also........he doth protest too much!

You know what I'd like to see? Some sort of reality-based show where they send Michael out into the world WITHOUT his 75 security guards and let him fend for himself. Get a job... find an apartment... grocery shop... do laundry. Now THAT would be entertainment.

I watched the special last night and yes Michael needs help. He needs people around him who can tell him no. This a a 44 year old man with the mentality of a kid. His childhood abuse has not helped matters. With the kids sleeping over I don't believe it is anything sexual for him but I think it is like having a sleepover when your a kid. He is trying to relive the childhood he never had. I felt empathy for they guy and I thought the interviewer was a prick. That whole thing about Michael saying he was Peter Pan and the interviewer shoots back and says "no your Michael Jackson". Well I think the guy knows that but he can relate to the story of Peter Pan and basically does not want to grow up because of the lost childhood. The zoo "incident" was nothing more than Michael going for an outing with his kids that got out of hand because of his fans. He has made some really poor judgement calls such as dangling the baby from the balcony but it just means he needs a strong person beside him to help. The plastic surgery is another thing, but who really wants to admit they had a tuck done here or there? As for the money I think that he gives away a lot to charity mostly childrens. The shopping spree was nuts I'll agree but is this something he does every day or is he mostly holed up in a hotel or Neverland. All in all I came away from it thinking okay I thought he was just nuts but now I feel for the guy. He is upset with the interview but I think this might do more for him than he realizes as people begin to understand where he is coming from rather than the recluse we all don't know. One last thought, I never was a Jackson fan growing up and I allways wondered what happened to the other glove!

I watched the program. Twice.
The first time..I was shocked, angry and sad all at the same time. We all now he is Jacko the Wacko...and he proved it in this documentary. I was stunned at some of the things I had just heard.

The second time I watched it...(a day later cause I recorded the damn thing..lol)...I couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
Sorry for the children....to have to live that kind of lifestyle...Yeah it's nice to have an amusement park in your backyard....but to be dragged around town..they way they were made me sick. The zoo fiasco made me cry...those poor kids...

I have always enjoyed Micheal's Music..his dancing..But I Don't like him one bit. I say charges shoud be laid agaisnt him..and his children taking away..until he can prove he is sane and a fit parent. And he shouldn't be allowed to be in the same room with kids under the age of 18. That's my opinion.....

Micheal is very talented and he has amazed us with his great music and fantastic dance moves over his 30 years of fame...
But he is far from being a perfect parent!! Shame on you Micheal!!!!

Now on a funnier note......check this out and you tell me he only had 2 plastic surgeries done!! LOL

I was working and missed the special but nobody's mentioned his apparent financial difficulties, too. Sony (was it?) dropped him and apparently he owes money all over the world. Did the special mention that at all?

I agree with erotic51 and others - why does he deny the surgery?

Also, the man grew up with the media around him forever. How could he feel betrayed by someone who followed him around with a camera for so long?

ok im of two minds about 'wacko jacko' , i agree with dude33, and with what other members have said- the sad fact is that often child trauma (no matter how insignificant it might seem to us- it can be big for other people) can effect people in ways that we can't understand, in jackos case it would seem hes become completely nuts- and in my small opinion should have his kids taken away from him- but at the same time i feel pity for him- obviously the abuse his father gave him effected him greatly- as well as not having a 'normal' childhood,(hey guess it would be kinda weird huh ), so yeah i think he definitly needs help(taking away the 'yes' people would be a great start) but most of all i worry for his kids- as isnt he repeating mistakes all over again?

Vintage Vixen 02-08-2003 08:40 AM

He may have suffered childhood trauma ,abuse whatever ....i know from experiance that there comes a time where you have to stop blaming others and take responsibility for your wellness,he obviously hasn't done that.He is one sick puppy and i can't imagine the mother of his children allowing them to remain with that twisted individual...he must have paid her really well.I don't feel sorry for him,i feel sick to my stomach that he's around children 24-7 .That in itself should be stopped, then like anyone else who has emotional or mental problems get himself help and prove he's capable of living a semi-normal life.If he wasn't rich and famous those kids would have been taken away long ago!!!
