Apparently i have an abcess in that breast....that is, they believe what is causing the huge amount of seepage

Changing the dressing this morning was interesting....there is raw flesh coming out from the edges of the dead nipple.....i'm just hoping it can make it to Tuesday....cause i swear i'll freak if it drops off on me at home *LOL*

The breast is damn sore and sensitive too now...plus still got major seepage

Do they tell you to use heat or cold or anything? Are you running a low grade fever?

Nope no fever as far as i know.....they never mentioned anything about hot or cold

If it keeps degrading at the rate it is...i honestly dread to think what it will be like by Tuesday

Oh and just to top the week off i get my period on Thursday *LOL*....so boobs are probably sore from that......fuck i tell ya....if it rains it pours!

But then better to get em this week....at least they should be gone by Tuesday...well they better be *LOL*

Round 2 Going under

I'm feeling a bit apprehensive going into the op

Heading down to the theatre from my floor, we had to use an elevator, anyway while we were waiting for it to arrive, i was looking around nervous and bored outta my nut, when i noticed the sign on the elevator doors

*snort* I started to laugh, did ease my tension a bit *LOL* Someone had too much time on their hands, they'd stood there and pulled the 'L' off the doors *snort*

Still smirking to myself, in we all went. I hate elevators eh. So with tense muscles even tenser i wait out the ride.

Getting off i breathe a small sigh of relief, I'd have kissed the ground but i figured they might well wheel me to the dementure ward instead *LOL*

Wheeled into the little prep room they ask all the Q's and crap. Then the theatre doors open and in i go.

I had to get onto the theatre table myself, then they proceeded to scrurry around doing their thing.

The anaethetist picked up the drip line, and i sorta watched the BIG needle of 'jungle juice' as he called it, disappear into the line

It's the oddest feeling eh. My eyes were getting heavy and everything seemed to be floating away, then hello dream land

I woke up better, no morphine (fucking evil shit). I'm on pethadine this time, good stuff *LOL*

Not really painful either, Just a bit tender, and after all this boob has been through....i'm not suprised.

The bug/s is not to be so easily dismissed though!!!

You would think a week of 4 hourly antibiotics into the drip line (of which i had 4 of before the picc line was put in) and it still has a hold

Back to the theatre again ...third time lucky!

The current picc line is failing, my arm is swollen and fucking painful.....so they will remove it (unfortunately it had to come out before i went to surgery...so yet another fucking hole in me....feel like a pin cushion i tell ya.....12 holes at last count) An interesting story to getting that put in too *LOL*....but it might freak ya so i'll just keep that to meself

They are putting in a central line this time....hopefully will last a bit longer
