Just a little, very little Oz, humor but which are you?

Is it your personal quest to be in people's face, to be an irritant, to divide or make people feel alienated? Is your opinion/way of thinking the only correct one?

Do you seek to to be a cohesive force, to include all, to help people find the similarities in eachother instead of the differences? Is everyone's view worthy of consideration?

Just curious which of these you identify with most.

It has been perhaps my biggest curse that I always try to see both sides of any issue, & my pacifist nature tends to make me back down from any serious conflicts; being a smartass helps defuse a lot of potentially explosive situations, if I can draw out the irony & make someone laugh, usually that calms things down. Having said that, there are some things I do feel a certain passion about, & I do enjoy a good argument with someone of a like temperament...I mean argument not in the sense of a war of words, but a solid exchange of ideas that leaves both parties feeling enriched & a little exhausted...kinda like good sex ;)

Oz humour?
You see Catch22, there is a movie that is called the Wizard of Oz which is about a young woman caught up in a tornado that carries her from her Kansas farm to the magical land of Oz. Upon arrival her parents house is dropped onto a wicked witch. (Note the similarity of witch/bitch) Shortly thereafter the question is posed of Dorothy, "Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?" Now, she is of course, not a witch at all, but it is within this phrase that the humor is derived by taking the word 'witch' and replacing the first letter to make it a more offensive word and thusly injecting a humorous connotation based on this fantasy movie about a magical land called Oz.

:jester:

Truth be known I didn't make the connection at first either. I thought the 'Oz humor' was going to be a prison sex joke based on the HBO series 'Oz'. How sad is that? I don't even have cable!

Nope. At it's not Arkansas either. Now, why is Arkansas not pronounced Are-Kansas? I mean, Double you tee eff!

The answer, when taken in Toto, probably needs revision.

Poor Toto.

I seem to always agree with what people say to make them happy and to make them not feel stupid. I hate to make someone feel stupid (but so many like to do it to me) I would love to be a bad bitch for a week...just to kick some ass for awhile...but until then...I'll sit back and be a good bitch and just bitch about everyone that pisses me off in the mean time..........

I would say most of the time I am a good bitch. I get along with everyone ususally. But don't get on my bad side or hurt someone I love. I can then be a very bad bitch. :)

I like things to run smoothly and everyone be as happy as possible ... to that end I'll comply with quite a lot ... but that doesn't necessarily mean that I will agree with others, people who know me (even those who know me in passing) in the real world, know what I believe and what is important to me and I wouldn't dream of telling someone else they need to believe the same as me. I will do my best to have others be comfortable around me - no matter what they believe (or do). My mom always said I was the "peacemaker" in the family - really don't like it when people are at odds with each other!!! - so does that make me more in line with the good witch???

I can be both as well, but tend to be the good bitch the most. Not an in your face kind of person for the most unless really upset and it is kind of hard to get me that upset.
