OK...just curious...


Men keep on trying to pick me up at the gym recently. Now...I work out HARD. I sweat, my shirt is damp, my face gets red (gotta LOVE that fair Irish skin), and my hair is pulle dback into a pony tail.


I wonder...what could POSSIBLY be "sexy" about my appearance post-workout?


So...guys and gals...tell me -- what is sexy about a post-workout sweaty woman?

I think it is a combination of watching a woman exercise and work her body. To me that is sexy, the pheromones, the damp shirt.... and the fact that your jsut damn sexy.

Oh god... I have no idea WHY it's sexy... it just is.

I think part of it might be because so often it's Not Done for a Lady to sweat, and so when I see a chick all sweaty and messed up, it's a turn on because you're seeing a rare or unconventional portrayal. And, as was said earlier - you're seeing them more down-to-earth, without pretense.

There's probably some flick back to Prehistoric times, too - "Woman Sweat Lots, Woman Tired. Woman Vulnerable! Me Go, Fuck Woman Good!"
It's our masculine instinct to reproduce again. :)

Truth is i think sweat during sex is hella nice... but after working out i dunno... i get turned off by women who don't smell nice, i have an issue wit cleanliness.... i like women who smell nice, but the red face and hair tied back, well thats jus sumthin diff... heh heh

Oh, I don't think it's too big a puzzle. Sweat or no sweat, it's obvious you've got a nice body, that you obviously take care of... one that will presumably be washed and smell better the next time they see it if you take them up on their offer.

And if it's like my gym, you're not likely to run into these particular people anywhere else....so they've got to take their shot with you while you're there.

Can't say I'd mind getting hit on in the gym more often...but that may just be because I like being hit on ;)
